I don’t have a routine in Uluwatu yet because I’ve spent the last three days getting myself sorted.

I went to Seminyak, which was about an hour away by bike, to get my hair braided. They did a fantastic job, but it was super expensive. I definitely couldn’t afford to spend that much, but I really care about how I look, so I made the sacrifice. I’m going to try to spend less money for the rest of the week because that was definitely a lot.

Today, I was also semi-scammed by my first driver. I normally tip well anyway, so I don’t mind when drivers ask for one. However, he asked for a tip and for me to pay for gas. I paid for the gas and ignored the tip request.

I understand that I may have more money than they do, but it’s not like I’m financially stable. Every dollar I spend counts. They don’t always understand that, and honestly, I get it. It can probably be hard to believe.

Anyway, I’m really excited for tomorrow. I’m going to head to a café, go to the beach, and hopefully get a workout in.
