I thought Ubud was my place in Bali, but Uluwatu is really growing on me. People here are so easy to talk to, and it feels like many of us are on similar journeys. I keep meeting people in their late twenties and early thirties who are starting over, just like me.

Not to be that person, but so many of us are trying to break out of the matrix. We don’t want to spend our lives working for corporations. We want freedom and control over our time. Life feels so much better this way.

I feel genuinely happy here. Before I arrived, I was ruminating so much about the past, but the few days I’ve spent here are already doing something beautiful to my spirit.
